Rental terms

At the beginning of the rental you get a short technical instruction and driving lesson.
All the navigational rules, obstacles in and around the waters, shallows and fuel stations will be explained and you will be delivered the boat documents.

All boats are equipped with safety stuff according to the law, as well as ropes, anchor, fenders, sundeck, etc.

On board kids are counted as adults and it is obligatory for them to wear their life west.
The consignment of the boat will take place at the accorded time at the agreed place and has to be returned as stated in the contract.

The rental price is excluding the fuel, except stated differently. The boat is delivered with a full tank and has to be brought back with a full tank.

In the rental period at free buoy is at your disposition.
The prices are including tax.
The minimum age for rental is 8 years.

Documents to be presented at the rental: ID and / or valid ship license.

Legal terms of rental

Boat Garda fullfills all services as described.
The participant. has to declare a safe state of psychological and physical sanity and he must asure to not suffer from any pathological condition which could hinder him on his partecipation.
The participant must be conscious about the risks of driving a sailing or a motor boat.
The participant has to be able t o swim 5 minutes in open water.
The participant assures to follow all instructions from any personal of Boat Garda.
The participant has a liability insurance, which does not cover accidents or damages on persons or things due to scarce experience or negligence.

Boat Garda has no responsibility for damaged, forgotten or lost personal items.
Minors migth only partecipate with the allowance of their legal representative.

The participant authorizes Boat Garda to the treatment of his personal dates according to D.LGS 196/2003. Furthermore he authorizes Boat Garda to the use, publication and diffusion of his personal image for marketing or didactic use.

Cancellation policies

In case the client should not show up unjustified at the appointed time, we reserve us the right to withhold the already paid deposit and possibly ask for the difference to the whole rental price.

If the client cancels his rental within the working week of his rental date, we will only withhold the paid deposit.

If the client asks for cancellation within 5 or 30 days before the appointed rental, we will be happy to agree on a new rental date.

Every exceed over 15 minutes to the appointed rental time will lead to the loss of the right oto rental and we will withhold the already paid deposit.

The rental can only be canceled for bad weather if it really actually rains.

Boat rental

The lessee assures that he knows the rules of navigation on intern waters. Boat Garda neglects every responsibility on a scarce experience of the lessee. This means that Boat Garda has no responsibility for damages on persons or things, which happen due to a lack of experience or negligance of the lessee.

The boat is up to date with all required requisites and presents no damage and has to be brought back in this condition. The Lessee has taken vision of the perfect conditions of the boat – especially the propeller – and declares his full responsibility over the boat during his rental and declares that he is a capable skipper for guiding a motor or sailing boat.

The deposit will be paid back entirely when the boat at the end of the rental period will be brought back in the same conditions like at the beginning of the rental. In case of damages higher then the paid deposit the lessee has to pay the difference.

In case of delay on turning back the boat the lessee has to pay a supplement of € 70/h and for every sea mile of distance to the rental place he has to pay € 20.
The boat may not be rented to third parties.
